APPENDIX <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Project Understandine <br />The rain event that occurred overnight on Monday, August 15, 2016 overwhelmed existing ditches <br />and culverts along Ireland Road east of Ironwood Road, flooding the roadway and causing scour <br />underneath the existing pavement. Immediate concern to the City is the repair of damage to the <br />roadway. Secondary concern is the reestablishment of viable drainage facilities. The City has <br />requested that plans be developed to address the emergency repair of this area and to reestablish <br />viable off -pavement drainage facilities and the engineered Swale located between the Growing Kids <br />building and Ireland Road. <br />Professional services provided will be two -fold. The first phase includes contract documents for <br />securing quotes for the pavement and roadside restoration at the Ireland Road Crossing. The <br />second phase will be a roadside grading and other long term improvements for providing a storm <br />runoff watercourse for a long term solution. <br />PARTI. SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br />A. Construction Documents <br />I. Identify the locations requiring repairs to the pavement and adjacent shoulder <br />section. <br />2. Develop quote package with repairs and limits indicated on an aerial drawing and in <br />supplemental figures as required. <br />3. Deliver 10 copies of the complete quote package to the City for solicitation of <br />quotes. <br />4. Provide a Construction Cost Estimate to the City. <br />B. Construction Administration <br />l . Coordinate kickoff meeting <br />2. Perform utility coordination through construction <br />3. Daily inspection as required (assumed 4 hrs/day for 1 week) <br />4. Review and process pay estimates and change orders <br />5. Coordinate final walk through <br />6. Develop punch list <br />7. Complete Project closeout <br />PARTII. SCHEDULE, FEEAND CONDITIONS <br />A. Schedule <br />Time is of the essence due to the nature of the work and shall be completed measured in <br />calendar days as described below: <br />1.
