1- 79 REGULAR MEETING JULY 5, 1994 and 2611 West Jefferson Boulevard, it has been recommended by the various City departments and bureaus that have reviewed this request that the property be offered for sale. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the appropriate Resolution which has been prepared be adopted. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried and the following Resolution No. 29-1994 was adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 29-1994 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS DISPOSING OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has compiled a current detailed inventory of all real property owned by the City of South Bend; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has reviewed said inventory of real property and it finds that certain of the parcels of real estate now owned by the City of South Bend are not necessary to the public use and are not set aside by State and City laws for public purposes; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works finds that each of the properties described below has an assessed valuation of less than $2,000.00, that the cost of maintaining said parcels equals or exceeds the estimated fair market value of the parcels, and that the highest and best use of the parcels is sale to an abutting landowner. WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now wishes to take the necessary action to make it possible for the Board, in the future, to sell said parcels of real estate pursuant to State statutes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. That the parcels of real estate owned by the City located at 2602, 2607 and 2611 West Jefferson are not necessary to the public use, are not set aside by State or City laws for public purposes, that the cost of maintaining said parcels equals or exceeds the estimated fair market value of said parcels and the highest and best use of said parcels is sale to an abutting landowner. ACTIVITY Addendum I modifies the "Cost Categories" for this activity.
