<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Roland Kelly, 1325 East Wayne Street, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to block party, on Saturday, August 23, 1997, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., on East Wayne from
<br />Eddy to Sunnyside. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried,
<br />the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Cecilia Lucero, 129 Wakewa Avenue, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />block party, on Saturday, August 16, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Wakewa from
<br />Hillcrest to Lafayette. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried,
<br />the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ST. CASIMIR SCHOOL REUNION
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Leonard Dobosiewicz, St. Casimir Church, 1308 West Dunham, South Bend, Indiana to
<br />conduct the above referred to reunion, on Sunday, July 27, 1997, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.,
<br />on Dunham, at alley near rectory to alley on Walnut. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT PICKET
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Cynthia Robinson, 445 South Walnut, to conduct the above referred to picket, on Michigan
<br />Avenue, once a week in the evening. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms.
<br />Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT 4H PARADE
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Mr. Rick Kring, 4H Fair, 5117 Ironwood, South Bend, Indiana to conduct
<br />the above referred to parade, on Sunday, July 27, 1997, beginning at 4:15 p.m., on the designated
<br />route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following traffic
<br />control devices -were approved:
