j1- *9 REGULAR MEETING MAY 8, 2000 WHEREAS, inspections of the property has been completed by the Department of Code Enforcem6r f and the Fire Prevention Bureau as required by Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau have found that such premises are fit and proper for the maintenance and operation of such business; and WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code requires adoption of a Resolution of the Board of Public Works recommending the renewal of the license applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board ofPublic Works ofthe City of South Bend, Indiana, that the license renewal application for the following be recommended favorably based upon the satisfactory review of the properties by the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau: Scrap Management Inc. C&C Salvage, Inc. Management Corporation 3123 S. Gertrude Street 3123 S. Gertrude Street South Bend, Indiana 46614 South Bend, Indiana 46614 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be submitted to the Common Council for its consideration and adoption of an appropriate Resolution. JACOB, Clerk ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 66-2000 - ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Roemer and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 66-2000 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment (Redevelopment) is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: Lot 67 Arnold's Second Addition. Key No. 18-2023-0681 (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property), and; WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana (City), acting by and through the Board of Public Works, hereby expresses its desire to acquire Real Property from the Commission; and WHEREAS, Redevelopment is desirous of transferring the Real Property to the City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14-3, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ("Commission") is the governing body ofthe City of South Bend, Department ofRedevelopment and, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14-12.2 may dispose of the Real Property; and
