Committu *port: <br /> atxi Dublit ftfgtv commitfr <br /> The January 22, 2001 meeting of the Health and Public Safety Committee was called to <br /> order by its Chairperson, Council Member Andrew Ujdak at 5:12 p.m. in the Council Informal <br /> Meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Aranowski, Pfeifer,Varner, Ujdak, <br /> Kirsits, Kelly, Coleman and White; Nancy Sulok of the goat nb Zrtbung, and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Ujdak noted that the meeting was called to review Resolutio No. 01-6 <br /> which would approve a proposed interlocal agreement for fire and rescue services in the annexed <br /> portion of Centre Township at the southern limits of the City. <br /> There was no one present from the City Administration to make a presentation. <br /> Council Members Kirsits, White and Ujdak noted that they had several questions on the <br /> proposed agreement. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member White made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Kirsits that Res. No. 01-6 be continued until February 12th. The motion passed. <br /> Council Member White inquired about policies governing providing police services for <br /> businesses and clubs. She suggested that an update from the City Administration be sought. <br /> Council Member Udjak suggested that this be discussed at the Committee meeting to be held on <br /> February 12th. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Ujdak <br /> adjourned the meeting at 5: 17 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Andrew Ujdak,Chairperson <br /> Health and Public Safety Committee <br /> KCF:kmf <br /> • <br />
