ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT SOUTH SIDE OF 900 BLOCK OF EAST MADISON STREET, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA SAINT JOSEPH'S MEDICAL CENTER, INC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, THAT: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which Ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: Lots Numbered One (1) , Six (6) and Seven (7) as shown on the recorded plat of Dunn & Myler's Subdivision of Large Lot Thirteen (13) in Samuel L. Cottrell 's First Addition to the Town of Lowell, now within and a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana, together with the South twelve and one -half (12 1/2) feet of partially vacated Madison Street between Notre Dame Avenue and St. Francis Street, more particularly described as the South 12.5 feet of the original 82.5 foot right -of -way from the East right -of -way of North Notre Dame Avenue to the West right -of -way of the first North -South alley East of North Notre Dame Avenue and South of East Madison Street, for a distance of approximately 165 feet and also the South 12.5 feet of East Madison Street of the original 82.5 foot right -of -way from the East right -of -way of the first North -South alley East of North Notre Dame Avenue and South of East Madison Street, to the West right -of -way of North Frances Street for a distance of approximately 165 feet. be and the same hereby is established as "PHC" Professional /Health Care District. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor and legal publication.
