Animal Control Commission <br />Commission Members Present: <br />Citizen Members Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Agenda: <br />Ernest calls to order 6:26 p.m. <br />All members present <br />Nathan Hasse, Todd Howard <br />August 4th, 2015 6:30 p.m. <br />Becky: Brings up dog bite case, the ongoing drama, wants to drop it, and asks Erny what we can <br />do. <br />Ernest: Legally out of our hands <br />Becky: Landscaping Sept. 18th @ Shelter <br />: can drop off week before <br />Emily: Oberlin case notice <br />Erny: Has updated notice to be dated 8/4 or 8/5 and get sent out <br />Becky: Dog held in custody 4+ months <br />- no updated case <br />Erny: Who handles more serious cases? <br />Becky: Pam Wislowski Michiana Feral cat initiative <br />Issue with Police Dept., some dog & cat friendly, but a lot of cases are going out and not <br />taking report <br />Betsy Culp: ask to file a Code 2 if an officer won't take a report <br />Becky: New protocol for lost and found pets- will email commission <br />Ernest: 4 -H Fair Exotic Animal exhibits <br />Todd: Spoke highly of event, all permits and taken care of <br />Becky: Asks Todd about any upcoming cases <br />
