Icase, rent or otherwise dispose of property for the pw~poses <br />set t~~rth and described in LC. ?6-7-1d: and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners have the authority under I.C. ~6-7-14-8(c) to adopt such <br />rules and by-la~~~s as they consider ^ccessary for the proper conduct of their proceedings and the <br />carrying out of their duties and the safeguarding of money and property placed in their custody: <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission enters into agreements, froth time to time. ~~~ith individuals <br />and entities fair temporary access to andror use of Commission-owned property: and <br />WHEREAS the Commission ~~~ishes to delegate to the staff of the Rcdcvelopu~cnt <br />Commission the authority to originate temporary use agreements subject to ratification by the <br />Commission. <br />NOON', THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Rede~°elopment <br />Commission as f~~llo~~~s: <br />f~he t<~Ilo~n~ing Staff membcis of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission be <br />and hcrcbv are authorized to initiate tcmpora~y use a~~rcements on behalf of the <br />Commission: <br />a. Don Inks; and <br />b. Dcbrah .iennin~s. <br />3. All a~~rcements originated by Staff must be related to property in which the <br />Commission o~~~ns. or ~~~hich the Commission intends to sell, use, exchange. lease <br />or otha~~~~ise engage in disposition. <br />3. All such agreements must be approved by the Redevelopment Director and by the <br />Department of La~~,~. <br />4. All such agreements initiated by Staff must be submitted to the Commission at its <br />next mectin~~ after initiation of such agreement. <br />5. This authority expires on December ; I . ?009. <br />
