Inc. to utilise Airport Economic De~~elopment Area TIF dollars to pro~~idc job readiness training. Job training is eligible under lC ~6- 7-14-~9(b) (31 (h) and 1C ~6-7-14-~9(g). This proposal is expected to gall under the latter citation. W'e often hear ti-om area business that there is a lack of job-ready and trained indi~~iduals to fill positions ~~~hich would enable these businesses to expand. In addition, Project Impact proposes to ~~~ork ~~~ith a hard-to-place population of formerly incarcerated felons. By inter~~ening ~~,~ith this population it is hoped they can find the path to legitimate and fulfilling ~~~ork and not return to a life ofdcsperation and crime. Document?
