(9R (3) <br /> Department of <br /> mod= <br /> y^a <br /> = a <br /> s Community Investment <br /> Memorandum <br /> August 14, 2014 <br /> TO: Redevelopment Commission <br /> Oft-- <br /> FROM: David Relos, Economic Resources <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution No. 3225 &Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement <br /> Noble Americas South Bend Ethanol <br /> This Resolution and Agency Agreement is for an equipment purchase for the <br /> rehabilitation and upgrading of the ethanol plant. <br /> On July 24, 2014, the Commission approved an Economic Development Memorandum <br /> of Understanding (MOU) and Equipment Lease Agreement with Noble Americas South <br /> Bend Ethanol for this project, and this Addendum will authorize the Board of Public <br /> Works to act as the Commission's agent, overseeing bid specs, advertising, and <br /> awarding of this project. <br /> Per the MOU, Noble Americas commits to investing $31,175,000 in upgrades to the <br /> plant, and creating 50 new jobs with an average wage of$27 per hour. <br /> Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3225 and the Addendum to the Master <br /> Agency Agreement, in a not-to-exceed amount of$2,000,000. <br /> 227 W.JEFFERSON BLVD.
