Lafayette Demolition Project <br />This Resolution and Amendment to the Agency Agreement is to increase the budget for <br />the demolition and clearance of the Hamilton Towing property at 917 S. Lafayette, at the <br />southwest corner of Lafayette and Sample. <br />This property was acquired along with 802 and 910 S. Lafayette from Hamilton Towing <br />in June 2012. Date of possession for 917 S. Lafayette is June 30, 2014, with demolition <br />planned to occur soon thereafter. <br />On February 13, 2014 the Commission approved an Addendum to the Master Agency <br />Agreement with the Board of Public Works. Part of the Addendum was setting the <br />project budget at $80,000. <br />On June 24 bids were opened, with the low bid coming in at $89,500. To award this low <br />bid the project budget needs to be increased. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3219 and the Amendment to the Addendum <br />To Master Agency Agreement, in a not -to- exceed amount of $100,000, to allow for any <br />unforeseen circumstances that arise during demolition. <br />"t w.
