The <br /> attached pictures show two damaged areas, which are limited to the southwest corner of the <br /> building and above a second story window. Ziolkowski has done similar repairs to terra <br /> cotta on the nearby American Trust Place's south façade, among others. <br /> The State was at one time owned by the Commission, and when sold in 1993, a facade <br /> easement was retained on the Michigan St. frontage to protect this iconic building. This <br /> easement states the Commission agrees to maintain the west exterior façade (Michigan St.). <br /> This repair is needed to stabilize the terra cotta, with an epoxy adhesive being used to <br /> secure the fractured corner piece, and a patching material with applied finish to infill other <br /> missing pieces. <br /> Staff requests approval of this professional services agreement in the amount of$1,621, to <br /> allow the repair and stabilization of these two areas of the State's facade. <br /> 227 W.JEFFERSON BLVD.
