<br />COMMON COUNCIL.
<br />TO THE-MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in us as
<br />Councilmen of the City of South Bend, Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of
<br />said City is hereby called for sArtatal 7:30 o'clock P. M., on Thursday evening, March 29th,
<br />1934 or as soon thereafter as convenient for the purpose of Receiving a Report and for
<br />Third Reading and taking action on the following Ordinance, which Ordinance Title is as
<br />follows:
<br />" An Ordinance Fixing the Annual Salaries of the City Officials of the Municipal City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana
<br />ALSO An Ordinance to be introduced , which Ordinance Title is as follows:
<br />An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars from the General Fund of th
<br />City of Soutly Bend, Indiana, unto the Building Department of the Board 'of Public `Works"

<br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE.
<br />To the.Common Council of the City of South Bend:
<br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred An Ordinance Fixing the annual Salaries
<br />of the City Offictials of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana. Respectfully report that
<br />they have examined the mantter and that in their opinion the said Ordinance should be reported
<br />Favorable as amended. Jno. C. Hiss;
<br />ORDINANCE N8. 3051- Chairman.' The report was accepted by the Council.

<br />An Ordinance Fixing the annual Salaries of the City Officials of the Municipal City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana.
<br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and
<br />passed by the following vote: Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski,-Altfeld, Hiss and Uxzzbx
<br />Grzeskowiak voting Aye, Oakley, Cripe and Gustin voting Nay. Ayes S, Nays 3, Ordinance adopted
<br />as amended.'
<br />ORDINANCE NO.
<br />An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Eight-Hundred Dollars from the General Fund of the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana, unto the Building Department of the Board of Public Works.
<br />The Ordinance was given its -first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />Motion of Councilman Hull was referred to the Committee of the Whole, also that a Public
<br />Hearing be held April 9th., 1934 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
<br />On Motion of Councilman Altfeld the Council adjourned at 9 ::20 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
