., <br />~~ <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />• REGULAR MEETING <br />November 27, 2002 1308 County-City Building <br />1:30 p.m. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />Presiding: Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601 <br />The November 27, 2002 Rescheduled Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was <br />called to order at 1:33 p.m. by Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, President <br />Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary <br />Member Absent: Mr. Cleo Washington, Vice-President <br />Redevelopment Staff: Mr. Donald Inks, Director <br />Mr. Owen Rock, Assistant Director <br />Mrs. Jenny Hullinger, Recording Secretary <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. Approval of the minutes of October 9, 2002 <br />Upon a motion by Carolyn. Pfotenhauer, seconded by Jose Alvarez, and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 9, 2002. <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Authority approval of transfer of Palais Royale Property to the Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Inks said in order to close the funding gap for the renovations on the Palais we are <br />looking into raising money through the Historic tax credits. We will need to transfer the <br />property to the Redevelopment Commission so that they can sell it to a private for-profit <br />corporation. The bond holders are being notified that the bonds will be paid off by the <br />27t'' of December. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, the Authority approved the <br />transfer of the Palais Royale Property to the Redevelopment Commission, and authorized <br />the Authority's officers to execute the appropriate documents. <br />4.
