Community <br />1865 <br />Investment <br />Memorandum <br />May 30, 2013 <br />TO: Redevelopment Commission <br />FROM: David Relos, Economic Resources` <br />SUBJECT: Resolution No. 3143 and a Second Amendment to the Addendum To The <br />Master Agency Agreement Memorial Hospital Streetscape Improvements <br />Project Bid Packages 3 &4 DLZ Supplemental Agreement No. 3 <br />Attached to this memorandum is Resolution No. 3143 and a Second Amendment to the <br />Addendum To The Master Agency Agreement for the Memorial Hospital Streetscape <br />Improvements Project Bid Packages 3 & 4, DLZ Supplemental Agreement No. 3. <br />This Second Amendment and Supplemental Agreement is for additional work DLZ will <br />do outside the original scope of their work to complete this project. Additional items <br />include: <br />• Design several options for the parking lot, including pervious concrete, pervious <br />pavers, concrete, and asphalt (pervious surfaces required major leveling of the <br />site, hard surfaces did not but required larger dry wells) <br />• Attend preconstruction meetings; assist with analyzing bids and their selection <br />• Provide demolition specs and environmental abatement of two buildings. <br />The increase to accommodate these services is $46,500. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3143 and the Second Amendment to the <br />Addendum To The Master Agency Agreement, Supplemental Agreement No. 3, so <br />engineering work may continue to complete this project. <br />227 W.
