Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />The July 7, 1992, Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority <br />was called to order at 8:06 a.m. by its President, Joseph <br />Wroblewski. Authori ~ authorization requested to petition Board of <br />Public Works for Vacation of Allev. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the Authority owns <br />approximately six houses surrounding the alley to be <br />vacated. The Authority has subleased them to the Board of <br />Works who has subleased them to the Housing Development <br />Corporation to rehab and manage. There is not adequate <br />parking on the streets for the tenants in those homes. <br />We'd like to vacate the alley and create some parking and <br />landscaping in the back yards. As the owner of the <br />adjacent property, the Authority needs to petition the <br />Board of Public Works for the vacation. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski <br />and unanimously carried, the Authority authorized the <br />staff to petition the Board of Public Works for Vacation <br />of Alley. <br />-1- <br />
