Wood clapboard siding <br />with corner classical pilasters. Hip roof with asphalt shingles and dormers on fours slides. Porch extending around <br />east and north facades with full entablature and pediment over entrance. Doric columns support a full entablature <br />with dentils. Windows vary in height and are a mix of small fixed pane and 1/1 double hung. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The applicant has requested approval to: <br />1) Replacement of kitchen window with a larger window, custom made, see quote and pictures <br />2) Replace of front storm dorm see quote and pictures Administratively Approved <br />3) replace back storm dorm see quote and pictures Administratively Approved <br />4) replace celler door (upper) see quote and pictures Administratively Approved <br />5) replace celler door (lower) see quote and pictures Administratively Approved <br />STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES: <br />Windows: Pages 29-32. <br />SITE VISIT REPORT: Historic Preservation Administrator Ross Van Overberghe was able to inspect the win- <br />dow from the outside. The window is in good condition. It is on the rear facade in a partially enclosed porch area <br />under the sleeping porch. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Due to the good condition of the window staff believes the replacement of <br />this window for a larger one is not appropriate.
