The event is held to encourage South Bend residents to speak directly with <br /> the mayor and department heads about municipal issues. <br /> This event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 in the City's 5th Common Council District, <br /> and Councilman Dr. David Varner will participate. It is open to all citizens, with additional <br /> consideration given to 5th District residents and issues. Monroe Primary Center is located at 312 <br /> E. Donmoyer Avenue. Residents are invited to speak with the mayor and department heads from <br /> 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-serve basis for five-minute discussions with the <br /> mayor, while city department heads will be available throughout the evening to provide <br /> information on city projects and programs.
