-. <br />• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 103 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY DETERMINING TO PAY CERTAIN EXPENSES <br />INCURRED FOR LOCAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN OR <br />SERVING THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL AI-LOCATION AREA <br />(SOUTH BEND ALLOCATION AREA NO. lA) <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to pay expenses incurred by it for local public <br />improvements that are in or serving the South Bend Central Allocation Area with proceeds from <br />the sale of certain improvements deposited in the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General <br />Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the expenditures incurred by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority <br />proposed to be paid with sales proceeds deposited in the South Bend Redevelopment Authority <br />General Fund are described on the attached Exhibit "A" ; and <br />V'JIiEREAS, the.South Bend Redevelopment Authority desires to approve said payments <br />from the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund in the total amount of $600,000.00 <br />. for construction/engineering costs associated with the College Football Hall of fame in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority <br />as follows: <br />1. The South Bend Redevelopment Authority hereby approves the use of funds in the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund in the amount of Six Hundred Thousand <br />Dollars ($600,000.00) for purposes of paying the expenditures as described on Exhibit "A". The <br />Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is hereby authorized and directed to take <br />all necessary steps to obtain the approval of the expenditure of such funds including the <br />publication in accordance with IC 5-3-1 of notice of a hearing on the appropriation of such funds <br />to be held at 4:30 p.m., on December 12, .1995 at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West <br />Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />2.
