RESOLUTION NO. 92 <br />/. RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE CONTRACT <br />FOR THE SALE OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />LEASE RENTAL REVENUE BONDS ON 1994 (CENTURY <br />CENTER PROJECT) AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF <br />AN ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE BETWEEN THE AUTHORITY <br />AND THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the <br />"Authority") at a meeting on May 17, 1994, adopted Resolution No. <br />91 (the "Bond Resolution") authorizing the issuance and sale of <br />bonds to be known as the "South Bend Redevelopment Authority Lease <br />Rental Revenue Bonds of 1994 (Century Center Project)" (the <br />"Bonds") pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14.5 et se ., in the aggregate <br />principal amount not to exceed Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand <br />and 00/100 Dollars ($7,500,000.00), the proceeds of which are to <br />be used to acquire the Century Center facility, construct certain <br />improvements thereto and to pay the cost of issuance of the Bonds <br />(the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Bond Resolution authorized the execution of <br />a purchase contract (the "Purchase Contract") for the sale of the <br />Bonds to First Chicago Capital Markets, Inc., on its behalf and on <br />behalf of two other underwriters (collectively, the "Underwriter"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the President of the Authority executed the <br />Purchase Contract on May 24, 1994; and <br /> <br />
