a <br />:CESOLUTION NO. 67 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY APPROVING <br />THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM THE ST. JOSEPH COUTNY AIRPORT AtJTHORI.TY <br />WHEREAS,. the St. Joseph County Airport Authority is the owner of <br />certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, more <br />particularly described at attachment "A" hereto E"the Airport Land"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is the owner of <br />certain real property situated in St. Joseph. County, more. <br />particularly described at attachment "B," hereto ("the Redevelopment <br />Land1°) ; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is desirous of <br />acquiring the. Airport Land in-order to construct afirst-class: public <br />play golf course on and over the combined Airport Land and <br />Redevelopment Land; and <br />WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Airport Authority, on September <br />• 24, 1992, adopted Resolution 92-6 wherein it expressed its desire and <br />intent. to convey the Airport Land. for such purpose, in consideration <br />of the parties entering into an agreement for the joint operation of <br />the golf course, with any profits, after all expenses, including, but <br />not limited to operational expenses., debt service., maintenance <br />expenses, etc., are met, to be split by the parties on an equal <br />basis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REI?EVEI,OFMENT <br />AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The South Bend Redevelopment Authority hereby approves the <br />conveyance of the Airport Land to the South Bend. Redevelopment <br />Authority in cansidera.tion of the parties. entering into- an <br />arrangement for the joint operation of the golf course with <br />management decisions to be shared by the parties hereto and with <br />profits therefrom to be split }aetween the parties on an equal basis. <br />2. The South Bernd Redevelopment Authority hereby directs. its <br />attorney to prepare. all necessary documents to carry out the intent <br />expressed herein. <br />3.
