Notice of Public Hearing City of South Bend, Indiana Fellows Booster Station Replacement and Lead Service Line Replacement Program Preliminary Engineering Report Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that City of South Bend, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 9:30 A.M. on June 13, 2023, in the Board of Public Works Conference Room, 227 W.Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1308, South Bend, Indiana 46601 for a State Revolving Fund Loan Application for a Drinking Water improvement project. You can also attend the meeting virtually at https://tinyurl.com/2023BPWHybrid. The City of South Bend’s engineering staff and consultant Donohue & Associates will present the recommended projects, which will include the replacement of the Fellows Booster Station water infrastructure and lead service line replacement program. The water infrastructure improvements are part of the City’s Water Capital Improvement Program. The project will be funded through a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan, if accepted, and City capital funds. Copies of the required Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) are available for public viewing starting on May 26, 2022, through June 20, 2023, at the City of South Bend Public Works Office, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1316, South Bend, Indiana 46601. There will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public at this meeting. Written comments from the public will be accepted through June 20, 2023. Your participation is welcomed and encouraged.
