Andrew Cunningham, PLA, LEED AP
Vice President
acunningham@jpr1source.com
AUTHORIZED NEGOTIATOR
Jones, Petrie, Rafinski Corporation (JPR) is honored to have the opportunity to
submit our Letter of Interest to the City of South Bend to provide engineering services
for the Coal Line Trail Phase 3 project. Our firm has extensive experience providing local
communities with effective and aesthetically pleasing pedestrian improvement projects and
is excited to bring the same level of commitment to this project. To accomplish this, JPR has
assembled a highly qualified team to successfully deliver all aspects of the project with the quality
of work the City of South Bend expects from its consultants. We appreciate your consideration of our
firm and will demonstrate in the following pages why JPR should be a trusted partner for this project.
The JPR team has designed
countless streetscape, park, and
trail projects giving us a thorough
understanding of all applicable
standards including INDOT,
PROWAG, and ADA requirements.
Additionally, with several new hires,
the JPR team has 100% capacity
and availability to design the best
project possible for the City.
CAPACITY & QUALIFICATIONS
Michael Voll has been a part of
numerous pedestrian improvement
projects from every point of view.
As a designer, project manager,
and construction inspector for
various projects, Michael is
prepared to provide a quality
product and foresee potential
conflicts before they become
problematic.
EXPERIENCED MANAGER
To help the City of South Bend
accomplish their goals, the JPR
team provides an efficient approach
to the project. Through regular
progress meetings, transparent
communication, and cost-effective
solutions, we strive to complete each
project ahead of schedule and within
budget. By living in the community
and utilizing city amenities, we have
an added incentive to produce the
best possible product.
FOCUSED APPROACH
As a smaller firm, our project pursuits are decided upon more deliberately so we can ensure constant
availability and quality engineering. This thorough approach to project pursuits ensures we maintain the
high standards we set for ourselves in accurate design, schedule, and cost estimates.
CITY OF SOUTH BEND
PE SERVICES FOR
COAL LINE TRAIL PHASE 3
IN THE LAPORTE DISTRICT
DES # 2201235
Jones Petrie Rafinski
325 S.
