The reporting period is <br /> 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2022 <br /> 1. The City of South Bend is an active member of the Drive Clean Indiana(Formerly South Shore Clean <br /> Cities)and MACOG organizations. The Central Services Division is working together with these <br /> organizations to look for opportunities to reduce our petroleum consumption,carbon footprint and <br /> improve air quality in our region. <br /> 2. The City of South Bend currently owns 195 vehicles that can operate on Compressed Natural Gas. As <br /> a result,the City used 178,350 diesel equivalent gallons of CNG at a cost savings of$509,926 from <br /> 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2022. <br /> 3. The City of South Bend partnered with Transpo to build a fast fill CNG fueling station which opened <br /> in 2016. This station services the City and Transpo fleets. <br /> 4. There is one public CNG fueling site operated by ING,CNG Services,located at 6161 Brick Road. <br /> 5. For year 2022 there were no Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants. <br /> 6.
