• Comm f ttu 2spor t: • • Public Works and Property Vacation Committee �o tbt common eoultsfl of tf t efts of fouth aaenti: The February 13, 1994 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Ann Puzzello at 4:05 P.M.in the Council informal meeting room. Persons in attendance included Council Members Luecke, Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Coleman, Duda, and Ladewski; Gene Oakley, John Byorni, Carl Littrell, Don Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. The first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 2-95 which would vacate an alley east of Washington. Council Member Puzzello noted that the Board of Public Works sends this Property Vacation to the Committee with a favorable recommendation. Mr. Carl Littrell made the presentation.He stated that this would vacate 5 feet from the south side adjacent to the Football Hall of Fame.The area would be replated.He noted that traffic on Washington would be two-way traffic and that there would be parking on the north curb. In response to a question raised by Council Member Ladewski, it was noted that they are taking the area off of part of the sidewalk since the sidewalk is currently 11 to 12 feet in width and it can be cut back by 5 feet. In response to a question raised by Council Member Luecke, it was noted that the sidewalk would hug the building itself. Mr.Littrell also noted that there would be bus parking at each corner for drop-offs and pick-ups of individuals visiting the Football Hall of Fame. Following further discussion Council Member Duda made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kelly that Bill No. 2-95 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting was adjourned at 4:10 P.M.
