AUTHORIZED NEGOTIATOR/OFFICER
Terry Baker
President
tbaker@hwcengineering.com
(317) 981-1271 - Office
It’s Simple: We’re
Indiana’s Path Experts.
HWC has had the opportunity to manage over
20 different INDOT LPA path specific projects
in the last five years. This number grows even
further when considering the several dozen LPA
roadway projects that had multi-use paths as
part of their overall project construction. We
consider path inspection to be an important
aspect of the construction industry and HWC is a
proven market leader within this niche. As you’ll
see on future pages, HWC has inspected paths
of all different dynamics, and we look forward to
continuing our proud trail inspection record with
the City of South Bend.
HWC thrives when provided the opportunity to showcase
our inspection team’s skill set. HWC maintains one of the
largest inspection groups in the State of Indiana with a team
of 40 qualified inspection staff members. Having over 10 team
members with more than 15 years of construction experience and
a mentoring mindset has allowed us to consistently exceed our
clients’ expectations across the board. This experience, paired
with our team’s consistency, has made our goal of building long
standing relationships with our clients a relatively simple task.
HWC has proven our hard work and inspection performance
leaves our clients begging for more and leads to future work
with repeat clients. Our team has recently provided inspection
services for the City of South Bend on Olive Street Phase 1 and is
actively working on leading Olive Street Phase 2 to completion.
We are excited about this upcoming opportunity to show South
Bend that HWC is a firm you can rely on.RESPONSIBLE OFFICE
5920 Hohman Avenue
Hammond, Indiana 46320
HWC is partnering with McCormick Engineering to
perform inspection on this trail project. Our continued
and regular partnership on INDOT LPA projects allows
our team to provide an exceptional level of service to
our clients due to the familiarity and level of trust that
has been developed by delivering successful projects
on a consistent basis. We have chosen to perpetuate
this partnership on several recent LPA projects within
the La Porte District. Our pre-existing relationship with
McCormick will be a key component to success on this
project and will help ensure we meet the level of service
expected by the City of South Bend.
WHY THE HWC TEAM?
CITY OF
SOUTH BEND
EXPERIENCED & SUCCESSFUL
RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE
Scott Carter has over 23 years of experience in construction inspection primarily focused in INDOT and LPA work. HWC is
actively seeking to grow our inspection presence within this area of the State, and Scott is one of the strategic hires we have
made to increase our number of staff while also targeting new staff members which can add to our already impressive skill set.
Given that Scott is actively working in South Bend on another LPA project, he has already begun building a relationship with
South Bend and familiarity with the City. HWC is proud of the work we have accomplished for South Bend and we look forward
to Scott being a strong presence to help our firm continue to meet and exceed the expectations set forth.
Actively working for the
CITY OF SOUTH BEND
EXPERTISE in subgrade
and concrete testing
methods
23+ YEARS
of Experience
PARTNERSHIP &
UNDERSTANDING
OUR COMMITMENT
TO THE CITY
HISTORY OF SUCCESS
with South Bend and INDOT
La Porte District
CE Services for Coal Line Trail Phase IIB
(Des # 2200199) I LA PORTE DISTRICT
