Taelman, presented the Bill. He noted
that he was before the City Council on September 14, 1992 and received favorable action
on rezoning this to a (C-1) zoning classification. He noted that after that was completed
that he was advised by the Area Plan Staff that a "C" classification would be necessary.
Mr. Fedder noted that Mr. Taelman would live upstairs and have his beauty shop
downstairs.
Mr. Byroni noted that the Area Plan Commission gave a favorable recommendation to this
request at its meeting December 15, 1992, however noted the Area Plan staff recommended
the request unfavorably.
Council Member Puzzello noted that she believes that this is a low intensity use and would
be voting in favor of the proposed rezoning.
Following further discussion, Council Member Puzzello made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Washington, that Bill No. 90-92 be recommended favorably.
