Resolution No.143 <br />• <br />C: <br />RESOLUTION OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />TO HOLD LIQUOR, BEER & WINE RETAILER'S PERMITS <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend through its Redevelopment Commission has heretofore <br />been the permittee of a Beer, Wine, and Liquor Municipal Retailer's Permit and a Sunday Sales <br />Permit for Blackthorn Golf Course, and it had also intended to be the alcoholic beverage permittee <br />for the Moms Performing Arts Center; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of South Bend that the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority rather than the Redevelopment Commission be the holder of the alcoholic <br />beverage permits for Blackthorn Golf Course and the Moms Performing Arts Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission will consent to the transfer of its <br />alcoholic beverage permits to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority for Blackthorn Golf Course <br />and the Moms Performing Arts Center; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority that <br />the alcoholic beverage permits heretofore held by the City of South .Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission shall be transferred to and held by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority subject <br />to approval of the Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) and subject to formal consent <br />by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, which alcoholic permits presently include the <br />permits of Blackthorn Golf Course RR7194234-719, 720, and the permits ofMorris Performing Arts <br />Center which are in the process of application. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the members of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Authority shall be and are authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to carry out the <br />intent and purpose of this Resolution, including but not limited to all forms required by the Indiana <br />ABC to effectuate this transfer of ownership. <br />Dated: l v ~ ~ ~' <br />~~,___. <br />arolyn V. fotenha r esident <br />Joe varez, Secretary/T easurer <br />• <br />
