,,. r Resolution No . 123 A RESOLIITION OF THE SOIITH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF SOIITH BEND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "City") is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: See attached Exhibit A (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property}; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-9-6-3, the Board of Public. Works of the City of South Bend (the."Board") has custody. of and may maintain all real property of the City of South Bend; and WHEREAS, the City, through the Board, desires to transfer the .Real Property to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority for use in the renovation of the Morris Civic Auditorium and Palais Royale Ballroom; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment . Authority, desires to acquire the Real Property from the City of -South Bend; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11-8, the City, acting. by and through the Board, may exchange or transfer property with another governmentaY entity upon-terms and conditions .agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, at its meeting of •- February 23, 1998, adopted its Resolution No. , approving the transfer of the Real Property to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and generally described as follows: See attached Exhibit A by the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority shall be, and hereby is, accepted. • 2. That the Director of Redevelopment for the City of South .Bend shall cause the recording of the quitclaim deed
