ornrnttto *oat <br /> t <br /> Vgroonnti ant( tnoixct Committu <br /> The January 26, 2004 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Council Member Derek Dieter at 3:10 p.m. p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting <br /> Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Kelly, White, Dieter, Coleman, Kirsits, <br /> Puzzello, and Kuspa; City Clerk John Voorde, Beth Leonard, Terry Bland of the giJoutb <br /> trthui:c and Kathleen Cckanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Dieter stated that the Committee is composed of Council Members Puzzello, <br /> Kelly, Varner and himself. <br /> Council Member Dieter then called for a presentation on Bill No. 1-04 which would change the title <br /> and purpose of Fund Numbers 305, 315, and 328 within the budget of the civil of the City of <br /> South Bend. <br /> Elizabeth Leonard, Director of Financial & Program Management made the presentation. She <br /> noted that the three (3) funds hold debt serve monies for retired bonds. There are no monies <br /> currently in the funds. They would be used to accommodate the new SBCDA bond proceeds and <br /> debt service reserves for the SBCDA 2003 bonds and the 2003 airport bond. She stated that this is <br /> not unusual and that she sees it as a formality. <br /> Council Member Kelly made a motion, seconded by Council Member Puzzello that Bill No. 1-04 <br /> be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Dieter adjourned <br /> the meeting at 3:13 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Derek D.
