Over the past several years, the City of South Bend has made plans to iffic circulation and pedestrian accessibility within the Erskine Hills Shopping District / Ireland Road Corridor. public infrastructure projects that have been completed on the south side, like the improvements on he intersection of Ireland and Miami, and the reconstruction of West Ireland Road have contained as a : of the work the construction of sidewalks and pedestrian access points. Three infrastructure projects are presently planned which require right of way acquisition. Right of way acquisition is a lot more involved than just full property acquisition as it requires specialized appraisals and review to property cover all items of irr pact. The attached Addendum includes a professional service proposal from DLZ Indiana LLC to serve as the acquisition for the Commission /Board of Public Works. The acquisition team is familiar with the south side and presently serves as right of way acquisition agents on the Main /Lafayette connector project. The cost of the proposal is $90,500 a d that includes all appraisals, title work, and all other services necessary to complete the acquisitions.
