71 <br />Board met in regular "session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Bastian absent. <br />Petition filed asking for opening of Dayton Street from Miami Street to Marine Street <br />also for grade, curb and walk on the same. The same was referred to the City Engineer <br />for investigation. <br />The clerk was o --dered to write to Jacobson -Peterson Peltz and Kaufer for prices on <br />supplies for the Street Department. <br />r 1peclaratory hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 212 for Pipe sewer on Euclid <br />Avenue from Brick Avenue to a point 50 ft. No. of the forth line of haPofte Avenue. In <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no further remonstrators appeared and no further <br />remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said im- <br />provement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend, are equal to <br />the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, <br />confirmed and approved. <br />Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily <br />times bn the 19th. day of February 1913 and on the 26th. day of February 1913 to the <br />Cffect that this Board will receive bids for said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the <br />14the day of March 1913. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. <br />+he clerk was ordered to invite the Board of Park Commissioners and City Attorney to <br />be present at the Board's session on Friday February the 21st. 1913 at 10:00 A.K. <br />to take the matter of the Condemnation for a highway from Sample Street to Ewing Ave. <br />The Board ordered proposals published for the purchase of Twe4ty Thousand (20v U) feet <br />of number for the Stet and Alley Department of thle tit The same to be publishe& on <br />thee .:20th. day of Feb.91913 and on the " , day of February,1913 and proposals to be <br />opened on the lgth. day of March,1913 a :00 A.M. <br />Petition received from the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company in connection with the <br />installation of lamps No. 762 asking permission to set two -35 ft. poles, one at the <br />corner of Woodward Avenue and Hodson Avenue and the other just south of Woodward Ave. <br />The Board approves of the following: <br />One pole to be placed at the northwest corner of <br />Woodward and Hodson Avenue, the other :at the corner of lst. alley west on Hodson <br />both to be placed tempoftrily-1 awaiting underground ordinances. <br />Minutes of the regular hearing of February 14th. 1913 held at 7:45 P.Y. read and approv <br />Acting President. <br />t <br />
