N. Barnes as Cantractor and Chas. Suabedissen <br />and J�. A. Barnes as sureties 'was presented to the Board for approval. Upon motion <br />Clerk'ftd instructed tohave Bugbee and Sehock verify sureties cm these contracts, <br />and bonds and filed same with�Board Tuesday January 17th., 1922 at 10:00 A.M. <br />Hon. Mayor E. F. Seebirt met with the Board and took up the matter <br />of the advi.sabilty of printing an annual report for 1921, as no report was printed <br />for 11920 it was unanimously decided to let 1920 and 1021 reports go and print <br />yard statistics could be obtained forthese years in 1922 report. <br />Bill of Citizens Homes Company for payment .of sidewalk and curb <br />&Atensins and.pavement intersections in Studebaker Place Addition signed under <br />December 30th.,1921 and referred to this Board by H. The Board instructed Clerk to <br />notifu representative of the Marquette Park Corporation to appear before the Board <br />Tuesday -January l7th1, 1922 at 10:00 A:U; at which time this petition would be <br />discussed`, also Clerk instructed to re4uest City Attorney L2 Wi Hammond to be <br />present: <br />The matter of advertising for hearing on assessment roll and final <br />estimate for pipe sewer on Corby Street from Eddy Street to East line of <br />3rd. It is hereby resolved b <br />the Board that saif final estimate hnd%-,assesdment roll be published on the 11th. <br />day of January 1922 and on the 18th. day of January 1922 in the South Bend News <br />Times and South Bend Tribune newspapers of general circulation in this City, settip <br />and,fixin the ,-125th. day of January.1922 at 7:15 P.M. at the office of this Board <br />in the City Hall South Bend, Indiana, as the time and place when this Board will <br />receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed a ainst each of the <br />lots and parcels of land on said roll, and will hear and determine whether <br />such lots and parcels of land will be specifically benefitted by said improvement <br />by the amounts stated and set forth in said roll. <br />In the matter of the as_11 of awards of damages and assessments of <br />benefits filed by the City Engineer on December 17th., 1921 for the widening of <br />Turnock Street from Corby Street to South Bend Avenue, under Condemnation Resolutin <br />No. 64 the Board thereupon motion duly made and seeonded and unanimously <br />adopted the 1st. day of March 1922 as day on,whieh this Board will receive or hear <br />remonstrances from persons with regard to the amount of, their respective awards of <br />assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause to <br />be duly and legally given notice to the owners of each parcel of property,, showing <br />the amount of the assessments or award with a description of the property affected <br />and the date of said hearing. <br />
