Three <br />of these properties are expected to be up for sale at the St. Joseph County September <br />2012 tax sale. Staff believes purchasing these properties from the tax sale will allow for <br />lower costs in the acquisition process. <br />Of these three properties, two are vacant lots and one has been improved with a one story, <br />three bedroom house. The improved property has been appraised, and on January 24, <br />2012 the Commission approved Resolution No. 2996, setting the offering value at $23,500. <br />The two vacant lots have just recently been appraised with a combined value of $3,775. <br />Since these properties are already on the Area's acquisition list, staff requests approval of <br />Resolution No. 3062, to take the necessary steps to register and bid on these parcels, in a <br />not to exceed amount of $27,275. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />
