Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. <br />Mr. Geo. U. Urey, Sexton of the City Cemetery appeared before the Board <br />and presented the following .communication. <br />The Hon. Board of Public Works, <br />South Bend, Ind . , _ <br />Gentlemen:s <br />I believe it necessary to purchase a set of accountabooks for ou`r, <br />office and ask your consideration. -_- <br />Respectfully, <br />. G.M. Urey, Sexton. <br />The Board ,after due consideration instructed Mr. Vrey to purchase the <br />necessary books for the keeping of the cemetery accounts. <br />The Board ordered that John Schyminski be appointed as an assistant <br />to Mr. Geo. M. Urey in the City'Cemetery at a salary of Eighteen ($18.00) per <br />Week. <br />I Bond of James Luther Superintendent of the City Suter Works for the <br />sum of Five Thousand (5,000.00)Dollars was filed with the, Board.
