McBride, PARC Committee Chairperson Date: December 31, 2018 2018 Annual Report of the PARC Committee Dear Common Councilmembers: As Chairperson of the PARCS Committee, I am filing this report pursuant to § 2- 10(i) of the South Bend Municipal Code. It highlights some of the Committee's activities involving zoning and special exception requests affecting the land use decisions in the City of South Bend. Duties: As noted in the South Bend Municipal Code,the PARCS Committee is charged with the following duties: Oversees the various activities of the Century Center, Four Winds Field, Morris Performing Arts Center, Studebaker National Museum, South Bend Regional Museum of Art, and the many recreational activities offered by the Venues Parks &Arts Department. Members: There were four(4) Council Members this year serving on the Committee namely: 1. Councilmember Randy Kelly, Chairperson; replaced by Councilmember Sharon L. McBride 2. Councilmember Gavin Ferlic, Vice-Chairperson 3. Councilmember Oliver Davis, Member 4. Councilmember John Voorde, Member 5. John Mazurkiewicz, Citizen Member 6. Erin Patzkowsky, Citizen Member Meetings: As of the date of this Annual Report, the PARC Committee met two (2) times this year. The Committee meetings focused on important community updates.
