As part of the working discussions, the concept of an Energy Resource Corridor stretching from the proposed Hydro - Electric Plant on the tip of Sietz Park to the New Energy Ethanol Plant, has developed as a way to best coordinate and focus the discussion. The need for the power study is at a critical point as both projects (Renaissance District and Ignition Park) are moving forward and both require high loads of power to provide adequate energy resources for potential tenants. The teams are working to finalize a contract that will be presented to the Commission and the Board of Public Works for review and approval. The contract will be presented as Exhibit A to an Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement between the Commission and the BPW. The Commission is being presented with Resolution 3046 and an Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement and a final version will be submitted before or at the meeting on Thursday, June 14tH What We Do Today Makes A Difference!
