Community & Economic <br />Development <br />1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana 46601 -1830 Phone 574/235 -9371 Fax 574/235 -9021 <br />To: Redevelopment Commission <br />From: Bill Schalliol, ADED i 7 <br />Subject: Professional Service Proposal — Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at Ivy <br />Tower Site (600 United Drive) <br />Date: March 9, 2012 <br />Attached to this staff report is a professional service proposal from Wightman Petrie to provide <br />Phase II Environmental Services at the Ivy Tower site at 600 United Drive. The purpose of the <br />Phase II is to do some site specific testing to determine environmental conditions and to set <br />baseline levels for potential cross site contamination. In January 2012, Wightman Petrie was hired <br />by the Commission to complete the Phase I ESA for the site and this proposal is a continuation of <br />that work. <br />The proposal amount for the scope of work is $12,600.00 and will allow for a complete report to be <br />prepared for the Ivy Tower property. The Ivy Tower site is located within the proposed Renaissance <br />District and the site study is a component of work to be done in the future. <br />Staff requests Commission approval of this proposal. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />6e6 <br />
