Community & Economic Development <br />1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana 46601 -1830 Phone 574/235 -9371 Fax 574/235 -9021 <br />To: Redevelopment Commission <br />From: David Relos, Economic Development Planner <br />Subject: Resolution 2997 and Addendum To Master Agency Agreement <br />Ignition Park South Expansion Area Demolitions <br />Date: January 24, 2012 <br />Attached to this memorandum are Resolution 2997 and an Addendum To Master Agency <br />Agreement for the Ignition Park South Expansion Area Demolitions Phase 2 project. <br />To date there have been two emergency demolitions, in addition to 24 properties cleared in <br />Phase 1 this past fall. <br />This Addendum covers 26 Commission owned structures which have had asbestos reports <br />completed. <br />It is estimated that the total cost of this project will be $350,000, which includes asbestos <br />abatement prior to demolition, and demolition and property clearance. <br />Staff requests your approval of this project, in a not -to- exceed amount of $350,000. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />
