676 <br />Wednesday February 14th., 1923. <br />Board met in regular session at 7:15,P.M. All members present. <br />Deferred hearing had on condemnation Resolution No. 70 for the <br />Opening and widening of alley from Colfax Avenue to Washington Avenue in Dubar's <br />Addition, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter petitioners and remonstrators pgesent, but <br />the Board deferred said hearing until Wednesday February 21st.9 1923 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 71 for the Vacation of a tan <br />(10) foot alley lying north of lots 3 and 4 in Ward's Sub. Div. of lot 329 and a part, <br />pf 328 in Cotrell's First Addition , in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter, Mr. Mossay`pe'titioner appeared and Atty. <br />Barry Scanlon app eared representing Mrs. Johanna Humphrey and Sherman Metzger <br />and filed written remonstrance, also Mrs. Leafy Smith filed written remonstrance. <br />The Board after hearing all interested parties presented decided to defer said <br />hearing until Wednesday February 21st.1, 1923 at 7:15 P.M., <br />Contract for the sewer on Main Street from Navarre Street to <br />Madison Street awarded to McHugh & Cole Co..at.........-$1,1,973.00 <br />Contract for sewer on Seeberger Drive from Michigan Street to <br />Fellows Street, awarded tp Staples & Ackerman for .....351656.00. <br />Claims were approved as follows! - <br />Carl A.
