J 011ier r-emo strating a ains paving <br />of alley rennin north and south between WasKin ton Avenue and Je ferson Biv . an midu�s <br />between Notre D me Avenue on the East and St, P ter Street on the west. Petition.,placed <br />on file and Clerkinstructedto acknowledge receipt1of same. <br />City Engineer filed the following repo*t which was approved by the <br />Board. <br />° February 2801922, <br />Board of Public Works, <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />- Gentlemen: -- <br />In regard to the attached complaint relative to,the condition of Wilbur <br />Street from Lon Iey Avenue to Fassnacht Avenue, I will state that Wilber Street from <br />Longley Avenue o Linden Avenue has never been improved In any way, <br />I would recommend that the Board of Public Works adopt a resolution to <br />improve the street from Longley Avenue to Linden Avenue, by grading the street, and construct--, <br />ing sidewalks and curbs on both sides. <br />The Linden School is at the present time being bebuilt and enlarged, and this <br />street if improved, would be of great utility to the children in that, school district; <br />Respectfully -,submitted, <br />APPROVED _F??EDFRICR J. SLA TJGPTER <br />President. <br />Pole and wire inspector reported on petition for light, Are light ordered <br />placed on northeast corner of Olive Street nand Humboldt Street. <br />Hearing had on roll of awards of damages and assessments'of benefits <br />I in the matter of appropriating a strip df land for -the Widening of Tu hock Street from <br />South Bend Avenue to Corby Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 64. In the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonst ators apppe red and written remonstrance <br />was ppresented by Attorney Rulison for Ethel Bair whict was read and over -ruled. The <br />Board find that the property mentioned in said roll fled December 17th. ;1921 are benefited <br />afid*damaged respectively as shown on s id roll and said roll is hereby In all thin s, <br />ratified, confirmed and approved and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 64 <br />is hereby concluded. <br />C*py of remonstrance. <br />STATE OF N <br />ST.
