At the May 10th Redevelopment Commission <br />meeting, the Commission approved a contract with Wightman Petrie to prepare a demolition and <br />site reuse plan for the former Michiana Lock & Key property located at the southwest corner of <br />Lafayette and Monroe. <br />The reuse plan for the site will include the construction of a through parking lot area that will connect <br />Monroe to the existing Cove parking lot south of the site and will include sidewalk improvements <br />and landscaping for the site. A copy of the site improvement plan is attached to this report. The <br />proposed budget for the site improvements is $156,763 with contingency included. The project will <br />soon go out to bid with an October 10th bid opening by the Board of Public Works. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution 2919 and the Addendum To Master Agency Agreement for the <br />Michiana Lock & Key Demolition Project. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />
