Fire Station #5, located on a triangle parcel at Ewing <br />and Prairie east of Olive Street is planned for replacement and the Department of C &ED is working <br />with the Board of Works staff and the Fire Department to complete a predevelopment study for the <br />existing site relative to the construction of a new fire station on the site. As part of the project, <br />property acquisition might be necessary to ensure the proper size station fits on the site and so the <br />predevelopment study is necessary to help develop the project budget. <br />The predevelopment proposal from MPA Architects is in the amount of $2500.00 and site survey <br />work will be performed by Danch Harner at an additional cost of $5500.00. Staff would ask for <br />additional funding approval for title work and environmental work if necessary for this site location. <br />Staff would request a total project budget amount of $15,000.00. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution 2916 and the Addendum To Master Agency Agreement for the <br />Fire Station #5 - Predevelopment Project. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />
