Most of these structures are houses of varying sizes, some with other out
buildings (garages, sheds, etc), and two with larger warehouse type buildings.
Before demolition specs can be written for these structures, an asbestos inspection needs
to be completed for each of them. To shorten the time frame to get this work done, these
41 properties were grouped by proximity to each other, and a Request for Proposal was
sent to four environmental services companies.
Based on the RFP's received, the three attached proposals were selected for Commission
approval. With three companies working on the asbestos inspections, it will shorten the
time needed to get the demo specs written, the demo's bid out, and ultimately clearing
these properties.
Staff requests approval of the Professional Services Agreements with ACM Engineering &
Environmental Services, Grauvogel & Associates, and Wightman Petrie.
What We Do Today Makes A Difference!
