Attached to the Amendment to the Addendum is a copy of the professional services proposal from Wightman Petrie to provide supplemental design services related to the study and design of two way traffic segments on Lafayette and William Street. In February 2010, the City of South Bend hired Wightman Petrie to study and create a master plan for conversion of Lafayette and William Street to two way traffic. After the completion of the report in March 2011, city staff met with Wightman Petrie staff and determined that some design revisions and additional study needed to be completed for the plan. Specifically on William Street, the additional work will develop a traffic control plan for the section of William from Western to Lincolnway. The additional work scope needed for Lafayette includes the modification of the plan concept to create a two way segment from Western to Wayne and from Lincolnway to Madson with the rest of Lafayette remaining one way northbound between Wayne and Lincolnway.
