REGIIL AR iyt TINE <br />'the regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Saturday <br />P. I,47. at 2 :00, April, 28, 1934. All members present. <br />The following invotees bearing requisitions numbers 07273 07260 07216 <br />07252 07302 07297 07298 and totalling 429,28 were ap- -roved. <br />FIRE DEP AR T ILIENT : <br />Fire Chief, Roy A. Knoblock, due to the death of his mother, was not <br />present. <br />A communication from the city clerR, of Niles, Mich. informing the <br />Board of a donation of $100.00 to the Firemen's pension fund in repay - <br />ment.for the Fire.DepartmentTs assistance rendered the city of Niles <br />recently was read. <br />The Clerk was instructed to send a letter of condolence to Chief <br />Knoblock. <br />POLICE DEP ART ;ANT: <br />Acting Chief, T;i. 1�amilton, present andthe activities of his depart- <br />ment discussed. <br />The application of William Albert Llitchell approved and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTIJENT: <br />Superintendent, Whi. F. walls, present. <br />Receipts for X8.35 damage to traffic signal and X12.00 for fee for <br />Ivir. quallst estimate for moving building were sublAitted and are attached <br />hereto. <br />A note for X118.50 payable on or before June 5th, 1934 covering damage <br />to'traffic signal & police and fire alarm boxes executed by Wilbur J. <br />Hensler and Charles Hensler to the Board of Safety, approved. <br />On motion by Tlir. Gadacz, seconded by h1r. McSorley and unanimously <br />carried it was agreed that the employees of the Electrical Department <br />be granted vacations of two weeks as has been the custom heretofore. <br />On motion by h1r. Trost, seconded by 1,dr. McSorley it was unanimously <br />carried that the traffic signals and alarm boxes be repainted. <br />WEIGHTS & IEASURES: <br />The report of City Sealer, Charles J.
