Trost absent. <br />The Board approved bills bearing the following requisition numbers: <br />07194 07203 07205 06145 07209 07186 07213 07178 07183 07190 07165 07193 <br />07208 07218 07211 07223 07220 07029 07054 07105 07073 07157 07153 09222 <br />07214 07202 07083 07188 09188 07197 09154 07181 07170 07195 07159 0148 <br />07065 07207 07081 07243 02690 02684 07225 <br />also the following claims: <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Co. $5.05 <br />Clemans Truck Ling; 1.00 <br />Northern Indiana Public Service Co. .75 <br />South Bend Clean Towel ;Service 1.00 <br />a total of all bills of X271.82. <br />FIDE DEPARTi ENT: <br />Fire. Chief,.,Ray A. lKnoblock, present. <br />On motion of rtilr. Gadacz, seconded by 1,1r. TvIcSorley it was_ decided that <br />the Chief be and is authorized to change wheels and tires for aerial <br />hook and ladder truck from the Goodrich `Fire Go. and to purchase two <br />tires for chemical wagon and two tires for Chief's car from the General <br />Tire Go. <br />OLICE DEPA.RTI,Tz <br />cting Chief, Horace }:11.111a- nilton, present and the activities of the <br />Dlice department discussed. <br />'he Chief reported to the Board that Probationary Officers Rhymer and <br />chuttrow have finished their six month's probationary period and are <br />cceptable to him as regular police officers. <br />motion by T;Tr. Gadacz, seconded by lyTr. McSorley it was decided that <br />e above mentioned officers be and are accepted on the department as <br />gular police officers. <br />LECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />uperintendent, Vim. F. Qualls, was present and the activities of his <br />epartment were discussed. <br />. Qualls was instructed to notify the radio transmitter operators that <br />ey will be required to.have second class radio operators licenses by <br />V 1st. <br />IGHTS & MEASURES: <br />e report of City Sealer, Charles I.
