I <br />Ory <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Regular -meeting of the. Board of Public Safety was held at 2 :00 P. M, <br />Saturday, February 10, 1934, <br />All members present. <br />The minutes were read and approved. <br />The Board approved bills bearing the following requisition numbers: <br />06785 07015 07031 06988 07030 07004 07019 09151'07018 07028 07008 <br />07021 09160 09186 07045 <br />and the following claims: <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Co. I Nov. 26 to Dec. 250 1934 $8.20 <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Co. February 6, 1934 3185 <br />a total of all bills of $182.63. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT- <br />Fire Chief, .Roy A. Knobl6ck, was unable to be present. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />Police Chief, Horace M. Hamilton, was present and reported the activities <br />of his department. <br />The report on vice conditions was submitted by the Chief, approved and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />The application of John Northrup for reinstatement on the department was <br />approved and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPARTMENT: ELECTRICAL <br />Superihtendentt Wm. F. Qualls, was present and the activities of his <br />department were discussed. <br />The clerk was instructed to write a letter to the Federal.Radio <br />Commission arranging for time for radio operators to take examination <br />for their second class license. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURES DEPARTMENT: <br />Report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burns, was received, approved and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business before the meeting the same was duly <br />adjourned at 4:15 P.
