Tuesday January 13th..1914. <br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. <br />✓ Hearing g.-v*n o:; roll showing awards' of dariages and. assessments of benefits onLots <br />50-51-52 and 53 in Kauffman's Place Addition, under Vacation Resolution No. 21. In <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana.Adepted July 2nd. ,1913. T <br />In the above matter no r_emons.trators appeared and no remonstrances were filed <br />filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed August <br />12th. ,191:3 in in all. things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />In the matter of Vacation Resolution No. 21. The Beard find that the property <br />✓ of The Harmon Coal Company is benefited in the amount of Eighty Six (6.00)Dollars <br />The property of the Harmon Coal Company is therefore assessed Eighty six (6.00) <br />Dollars. Now comes the Harmon Coal Company and waive all notice of assessments under <br />Vacation Resolution N®. 21 and pay into the Treasury of the. City of South Bend,Indiana <br />the sum of Eighty six (6:00)Dollars. <br />Petition for a street light filed with the Board. For light at intersection of Corby <br />Street and Notre Dame Avenue. The same was read and referred to the Street Com- <br />Missioner for investigation. <br />Petition received from the Lincoln School Civic Club, petitioning the Board to place <br />a sewer on Leer Street and that the same be extended from Calvert Street to the <br />Lincoln School. The same was read and referred to the City Enginneer for investi- <br />gation. <br />✓Petition fir'a .sewer on Talbot Avenue from South Bend Avenue to Howard StreeAu which -was' <br />filed with the Board August 13th. ,1913 was taken' up with the Board and ordered re- <br />ferred to the Engineers, for investigation. <br />/Guarantee Bond for the Paving of Ottowa Court with Brick,under Improvement Resolution <br />No. 220 and Paving of Pine Street with brick, under Improvement Resolution No. 2193, <br />✓signed by Hoban & Roach as prinicipals and American Surety Company of New York as <br />Sureties was approved by the Board. <br />,/Tabulation of 'bids on Ford Street Brick Pavement from Arnold Street to L.I.& I.Ry. <br />.reported to the Board by the Cityy Engineer.
