19 <br />REGULAR N9ET ING <br />JANUARY 16 <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday <br />January 16, 1933. <br />Meeting called to order by Mr. C. A. Budd at 9 :25 A.M. <br />All members present. <br />Minutes of last regular meeting were approved. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief Kuespert reported the activities of his department for <br />the past week, also stated that numerous request have been <br />made . by merchant policemen requesting special police commiss- <br />ions. After discussing this matter, the Board instructed <br />Chief Kuespert to draw up a set of definite rules regulating <br />special police commissions. <br />Weekly report of Policewoman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, was examined <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />On recommendation of Fire Chief, Roy A.Knoblock, the Board <br />unanimously agreed to officially accept the chassis purchased <br />from Scherman- Schaus- Freeman Company,and instructed the Clerk <br />to release check covering purchase. <br />Application of Kenneth Ludwig was approved and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Mr. Wm. F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time <br />sheets, which were examined and ordered placed on file. <br />The Board discussed the installation of radio system with <br />Mr. Qualls. No definite action was taken at this time. <br />WEIGHTS and MEASURES DEPARTMENT <br />Weekly report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, presented, <br />examined and placed on file. <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:45 A.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />
